Here's my take on this season. It's the same view on society as it was in 1997. Wether you agree or disagree, South Park calls out the absurdity of social norms. It hasn't changed its way that it satirize it's episode focus. The way Matt and Trey ,along with a team of writers, take a hot topic of the times and they twist in alogory and comedy satire and show society what society really looks like. For those first dozen they picked on liberals and Hollywood because that's what was popular. That's what was generating talk and controlled discussions and news briefings. That's what South Park lampoons. So now what's popular what's in society mouth is what South Park is lampooning. It's showing a mirror to society. Agree or disagree they go after every hot topic equally. When they have episodes of gays being hypocritical in a lampoon fashion the right wing laughs and cheers but when South park shows the Hippocratic way maga Christians act they pearl clutch. No they didn't attack Christians they showed the maga Christian hypocrisy. Again they show society a mirror like it or hate it but it's true. People need to step back from their point and look at it from a different view point. Most of the time you'll find things about yourself that disgusts yourself.
