Ratatouille fucking sucks. There, I said it. Completely overrated. Doofus shit main character.
ok.
>>151646251Kek, you are fake and liar review.Nice Try
Everything is shit compared to golden age disney, people are just trying the best they can.
>>151646251i know one of you are gonna post it
>>151646251t. Chef Skinner
>>151646264Based.
>>151646251I think it's fine, but I really don't see why people like it so much. Wall-E is better, IMO.
>>151646251Agreed. The movie itself is boring as fuck. the idea of making food tasting an orgasmic sensation is cringy. The rat is annoying as fuck. The lanky loser is an outright scumbag that goes gaga with the slightest taste of money. The romance between him and the tsundere tomboy is terribly unrealistic. The jafar midget is just a moustsche twirling baddie with the character depth of a piss stain. The only thing good was the soundtrack, very relaxing although maybe too much stereotipically french.
>>151646251I was so disappointed with it with all the lasting praise it got, I thought I'd be getting something on par with WALL-E.
>>151646251>moral of the story is "anyone can cook">MC can't cook
>>151646251>Completely overrated.A weasel word showing that you are afraid normies don't agree with you so you have to frame the narrative that you are in the right and everyone else is crazy. Just say you don't like it, no need for dishonest tactics
>>151646251Bitch, you think you're some "not like the other girls" one of a kind autist? Saying Ratatouille sucks is a COMMON AS FUCK /co/ opinion I've had to deals with for 15 years on this godforsaken board. Your thread is literally one of hundreds just like it that came before you. Kill yourself, not because of your shit taste, but because of your lack of originality.
>>151646385Seethe.
>>151646421Thanks for concededing the point.
>>151646251Ratatouille sucks indeed. Boring, pretentious and mostly charmless. Then again, what did you expect from the producer of Antz?
>>151646360I'm not sure that's the moral, I thought it was something like, 'great talent may come from anywhere'
Why is this guy so clumsy? It's not endearing at all.
It legit annoys me how reviewers treat Incredibles and Ratatouille in the same "flawless masterpiece" way that they treat Iron Giant, despite them not being nearly as good or emotional. Bird changed after leaving WB and not having Allison Abbate as a producer on his next projects. He showed a lot of promise with his debut film, but i don't think his following films lived up to said promise. Incredibles was competent, but a step backwards in many ways, and Ratatouille was a well intentioned misfire.
It's annoying how a classic like Iron Giant is lumped together with those inferior CG movies just because Bird directed them too. Critics probably feel validated in treating Ratatouille as a masterpiece just because Bird in a previous life made TIG, clearly not realizing that the guy changed since then.
One of the worst Pixar movies. Pinkava wrote a dull story with boring characters and an unappealing premise. Bird was brought late in development so he could salvage it, but he was unable to. Lasseter was too busy taking over WDAS and trying to save Meet the Robinsons, so he was unable to do much for Ratatouille either. This was made right during Disney's adquisition of Pixar, so development was a bit of a mess. It shows, cause there's a lack of polish to the writing, pacing and characterization here that you didn't find in other Pixar films at the time.
>Burts into the kitchen demanding to know who cooked the Ratatouille despite not having any more authority over the place. He expects it to be filled with his old human employees, unaware that all of them have left and been replaced by rats. He freezes, and somehow the rats ( which were quite a distance away ) end up tying him up, gagging him and locking him. It all happens in less than 5 mins, Skinner doesn't try to run away despite the door being behind him, and Colette is nowhere to be found despite supposedly being at the kitchen helping the rats. Skinner is never seen again for the rest of the movieThis movie's writing is unpolished. Troubled development issues are evident
I notice that audiences really like films like Despicable Me or Frozen or 100% Wolf. Their popularity is not only because of the merchandise appeal or songs, but also because they're very humble and easygoing. They don't have a self important tone like Ratatouille does.
contrarian freaks
>>151646360>>151646456It's both. Add the words "even a rat" to the end of your sentence and you got it. Also Linguini was a dumb ass. Just follow a recipe, or Remy should habe just taught him like a private cooking class.
where is it
