I finally started The Fourth World by Jack Kirby, but I'm already quitting. I'm into the 5th issue of Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen (#137), and while the initial Zoomway and Mountain of Judgment bit was slightly intriguing, I've been bored to tears during the last few issues. I followed an online guide and read The Forever People #1 in the middle of this, which was a fucking mistake. Will I miss out on much if I just focus on Mister Miracle and The New Gods?
>>151646423Nobody here reads comics, retard.
>>151646707Nobody loves you either, discord troon.
>>151646423Idk I've only read the New Gods.
>>151646423Jimmy is the weakest, especially later issues. I enjoyed forever people, but I had to take a break and haven't picked up MM or New Gods yet. I tried reading it in the recommended order first and it's a fucking mistake, just read the seriesHonestly, The King's prose is extra as fuck, as much in New Gods and MM as in The Forever People and Jimmy Olsen. You're here for the art and the ideas if you're here for anything.
>>151646923>>151647124Damn.
>>151646423I only liked the first few issues of Jimmy Olsen, best to skip them. I liked the rest.
>>151647728Thanks.
>>151646423>Be Kirby.>First writer to write comprehensible Superman and arguably DC lore.>Had his work shunned by haters in his heyday and by faggots like the OP.Despite all its problems, Fourth World was arguably the best thing Superman had been associated with since his creation.
>>151646423Jimmy Olsen and Mister Miracle suck, just stick to Forever People and New Gods both of which are fire.
>>151647925>First writer to write comprehensible Superman and arguably DC loreNot even remotely true
>>151649292Mister Miracle does not suck, faggatron.
>>151646707Some anons do, actually.
