Rossmo’s art gets ruined by it, deodato’s already atrocious art on flash was made ten times worse by it, this oooks fucking horrible.Either work traditionally and use a normal screentone, hard shade with a gray and convert to ONE CONSISTENT HALF TONE in procreate or stop using it. I made the tones blue so that you’d see them better. Before converting to halftones they MUST be desaturated completely otherwise you end up with awkward dilation.2. NEVER go past 1, aka the LOWEST possible amount on the slider. If you go bigger than one on dot size you end up with hideous shit like: >>1516495073. Obviously some people do tones before color, doesnt change the process I’m discussing. 4. When adjusting the layer to color burn after converting to screen you will need to bump the brightness ever so slightly to make the now halftones dots gray. Depending on the value of your colors you may need to select the individual colors to get a nice colorization. In this image I had to make the half tones on the red lighter than the half tones on the blues.
