I have a feeling it won't be going in this direction but I'd like it if the plot had all this empire vs empire bullshit get superceded by whatever ancient monster is screwing with Fjord.

Like they are fighting over this fancy rock with the power to cast a few fairly high level spells like Reverse Gravity while a half-orc warlock is going around collecting relics of some ancient evil that can probably sink an entire city under the waves.

The smug pirate captain Hologram really took me out of the show. Like when he showed up and started talking I'm fully reminded that this shit was a DnD game. Just the sheer incenserety to the fantasy genre in his really short scenes just broke the immersion for me

They surely fucked up with the characters portrayal.

They ain't Glen Cook's Black Squad, and CR aint Glen Cook to make the group of murderers likeable.
