Back around 2012 I watched an animated short, running about 20 minutes, titled The High Fructose Adventures of Danton Diphthong. I believe it was hosted exclusively on Vimeo. It was pretty funny.

For some reason it came to mind again the other day, so I figured I'd look it up again. Go figure, it's gone. It's either been taken down or been rendered inaccessible. A bunch of web pages from the time refer to it, but it's not hosted anywhere. For all intents and purposes, it appears to have become lost media.

Have you encountered other /co/ntent produced in the past couple decades that just plain disappeared on you like that? I'm surprised it could even happen now, but perhaps it's a more normal than I realized.
