why is there so much singing. the songs are not funny entertaining or catchy. and just halts the episode to a stop. is it run by theater kids or something?
>>151660369>none of them can sing and sound like autotune robots I don’t understand either. I just finished the movie and enjoyed it a lot, but those musical parts were a dampener. The music direction of the earlier seasons was one of my favorite aspects of the show and I didn’t realize until it sucked
>>151660369What episode is OP pic from?
>>151660552That opening number was solid though you have to admit
>>151660369sounds likes a you problem
>>151660369>why is there so much singingBecause Disney did it in Snow White in 1937
>>151660369Bob's Burgers is basically a kids show at this point.
Where is Harry Truman? He's dead in the ground, he's dead in the ground, he's dead dead dead dead
>>151660369>is it run by theater kids or something? Yes the target demographic of adult western animation switched from stoner 18-24 year old males to fat 30 year old quirk chungus perpetually adolescent women
>>151663338When was it not?
>>151660369You seem like a joyless cunt
>>151660369There were a couple of episodes with songs that they used to replace the ending credits music in the early seasons. Then it was determined that they ALL had to have something to put over the end credits. Now we get fartsniffing Emmybait sincere songs every other episode.
>>151663338New Bob's Burgers still regularly throws in a "damn," "ass," and even a "bitch," not to mention the occasional sexual innuendo and casual talk of alcohol. It's still retained at least *some* edge. Go watch the Gayle performance art ep from this season
>>151660369i used to like this show but at some point the show starting having annoying out of place singing in literally, and i mean literally every episode and it just got too much. i ended up dropping it. the writer and creator think they're musical savants but they're deluded. that shit is grating. it actually soured the good memories i had of the early seasons.
