Is he right /co/?
Sometimes, but I disagree with the statement that it's not because they're mutants. Mutants are usually insular dickheads because everyone is trying to oppress or kill them. You ever wonder why no one in Marvel has tried to draft human rights accords for mutants? It seems like it would solve a lot of problems.

>>151662071They'll never do it. The entire mutant narrative revolves around racism and oppression.
>>151662031>Mutants are usually insular dickheads because everyone is trying to oppress or kill them.Wasn't the general public's first exposure to them Magento committing terrorism
>>151661972Out of universe, yes. In-universe, no.
>>151662031Yeah, why don't all fictional characters just behave in a way that prevents any kind of interesting story from being told? I am very very autistic so fictional characters not being perfect logic-bots triggers me.
there's an interesting story to be told about mutant DEI shit but that would go against the leftist narrative
>>151664182Nta. Spoken like a true faggot. Spiderverse must be your favourite slop with how much plot-hole bullshit is caused mainly due to the characters retardation. The kind of faggot to defend game of thrones and Attack on titan endings. How the fuck did your brain translate bad writing to interesting.
>>151664182Also NTA, but It is understandable that characters may behave and do dumb things from time to time to kickstart a plot or keep it going, but ideally it needs to be done in a plausible manner, something the audience can look and think 'yeah this makes sense' or 'yeah alright, I dont agree with it, but I guess I can see that happening'. Also, please no pointless dragging of plots. Stories must know when to end.
>>151664182X-Men hadn't hasn't had an interesting story for 20 years
>>151665025>but It is understandable that characters may behave and do dumb things from time to time to kickstart a plot or keep it goingBut that triggers my autisms. I have over nine thousand autisms and they're all triggered.
>>151662031Distrust turned to outright hate because of Magneto. Asserting yourself as the superior race meant to inherit the planet doesn't do well for PR surprisingly enough, the X-Men officially allying with the guy that says these things doesn't help much either, especially for the other mutants that don't like him either or don't have a say and get lumped in with with the much louder "MAGNETO WUZ RIGHT" crowd.
