>>151665645I would gladly give my opinion on Israel if it wasn't illegal and I would get banned on the spot
They should've just made him say it.
Wait? This was actual comics dialog??
I still wonder if the opinions were negative or positive. It’s hard to remember exactly where leftists were on Israel when the comic was published.
>>151665645>Tell me. Who rouses BOR?>What whorespawn slattern is this? Depraved whelp that slithered from the legs of that gaping whore Freyr?>These crimes of unfettered libertine female, bring such chaos as to wake the dead! Have ye no shame, or is your vulgar attire not sloth, but a statement?>Ye forget the binding power we Patriarchs hold, ye grow weak and urbane in your halls of self-importance. Ye haven't the right t'bare wombs for your proper soldiers, let alone my own.>Were I had been a stronger king, I'd have march my men to the lands of Judah whence this insanity was born, and RAPE them down for the betterment of all. But as the demons rise again, so too, DOES BOR!!!
>>151665645Where is the writer now and where is the schadenfreude after the Gaza thing exploded (no pun intended)
>>151665645Back when this comic got made there was a social understanding in the US that anyone who gave others opinions about Israel unprompted was some sort of evil anti-Semite. Of course this was before Gaza that made Israel position as a sacred cow crumble for a lot of people. Now a day those “unsolicited opinions” could be read as bad in both sides of the discourse. What I found interesting is that even in our “modern” society there are still some weirdly archaic rules on how to approach subjects there are some groups and countries you are not allowed to say anything positive or negative depending on who they are, as if the concept of nuance is completely alien for most people and anathema for the most loud people out there.
>>151666520Somehow I don't like that when Israel is finally getting publically shit on, it's to defend dirty muslims.
