Okay my thoughts last episode was that the climax would have the fundraiser fail but Fionna learning that her friends are more important than simply pursuing a single dream of theirs at all costs. I think that the fundraiser not only succeeded but that Fionna was not even involved was the biggest curveball this episode. And also intercepted with HW and Fionna being judged for a cosmic crime. That gave me real tonal whiplash.
