Rereading Uncanny X-Force for the first time and God damn, this book is good.If only Opeňa and White were there for the entire run. Noto should have sticked to the faux-post cards. The entire volume still good overall, but the first arc, Apocalypse Solution is just perfect action pulp sci-fi comic.
>>151672349I thought it got kind of weak near the end
>>151672349Is it better than Claremont's run?If not, then I shan't be reading it.

>>151678263I've often noticed stuff that's commonly agreed to be good, outside of specific times of relevance, doesn't get much discussion. For years I've seen threads about, like, "Is Sandman Good?" get a handful of "yes" replies and nothing else. Then new books came out, or Gaiman was notorious for one thing or another (like the Miracleman lawsuit or THE INCIDENTS) and it got active discussion. It's the nature of /co/, and I guess Internet discussions in general.UXF is really good. But there's nothing much to say about it currently. So ok I'll say something: I liked the Krakoa era in general, mainly the core books, but hated a lot of the periferal stuff. Like Excalibur and everything they did with Betsy. At some point while it was still going on, I re-read UXF, and man, it's incredible how great Betsy's writing and characterization is in it, and how shit it's been ever after. It's hard to reconcile that it's supposed to be the same character. I know this can be said of almost any character at this point, but the contrast between Remender and, say, Tini, is brutal.
>>151679896This is not a good conic, bro.
>>151679935Yeah that's the other thing these kinds of thread get: contrarians.
