I found the mysteries plodding (just kind of dryly unraveled and resolved in a less than satisfying way), the sidekick and general humor unfunny (I love the actual Groucho; also, it seems like an attempt at anti-humor, but it doesn't work that way either), and the art and dialogue stilted (the latter can maybe be blamed on poor translation). I suppose the art is sometimes nice to look at, but I don't like that every album changed it up, and as a whole, I wasn't entertained by the comic.

Basically every book rips off a movie while making it more historically accurate in terms of costume and character's attitudes, so you generally get a solid basis and a good delivery more often than not. I scanlated couple books, I'd suggest you track them down, they're worth your time. I'm under the impression that Gea is pretty good too, like it's a take on Buffy without Whedon.Dragonero's value point is that it's generic fantasy slop closely sticking to the structures and standards of fantasy novels, I think. If you used to read a lot of fantasy novels and want a comic in that style, then the series is a good pick.Volto Nascosto I only scanlated the first book of and I have the script for the second on an external, but I heard it's good.Martin Mysterie I read a special of. If the rest of the series is like that, then they really love their references to pulp&horror literature.Tex Willer is kinda fun if you're into comics as a medium, being that it's a very early example of it. The character's about as old as Batman and sells more comics too. Being a flagship series, they generally pair decent writers and artists for it, so you at least get an okay Western every time.Orphans is shit. I get why they tried it, but it's just not good.Nathan Never seems to be very hit-and-miss, kinda like Dhampyr, mostly on account of them seemingly constantly switching out artists and writers. It also eventually featured a time-travel loop plot, I think, which is never good news. At least the company keeps the overall narrative and characters consistent.Magico Vento I know too little of, but what I read was at least okay.Julia's basically for you if you feel like reading crime investigative stories featuring Julia Roberts. The selling point is that it's Julia Roberts.Brad Barron was pretty okay. 50s alien invasion, kinda pulp-ish.

Legs is even more schizo in tone than Nathan Never, but I can't hate a series that featured a Magical Girl plot.The Le storie books are unrelated stories set during various historic events. They're generally decent.
