Lisa's Wedding built on that by depicting her as a teenager who was smart (reads a lot), social (constantly talking on the phone) and kinda tough (has a dirt biking trophy and dresses like it) but still loved her dad (has a picture of her with Homer framed in her room). So basically she's a mix of Bart and Lisa.

I do like the subversion that Maggie always gets interrupted before she is able to talk, but that lip sync work is horrendous.And Marge still sounds like she's gonna drop dead soon.

I hate that "Disney-level animation" they’ve been doing the past few seasons. It’s better than that stiff and lifeless animation from the many seasons before but that’s like saying a fart is better than a shit. It looks off because of how on-model they make the characters, it lacks Disney principles like smear frames and squash and stretch, not to mention how off the timing is. The golden age seasons did smooth animation far better.
