It wold be fun to see something like Jonas Sr be introduced to a comic universe. A super scientist that is twisted, self serving, and a total asshole but only if you really get to know him. Meanwhile the world thinks he is the amazing hero and savior of tomorrow that regularly hangs out with celebrities, world leaders, and playmates. He causes chaos while still believing himself to be the greatest to be the greatest genius ever. Like if Luthor was more of a very charismatic and kind of did fully believe his fake public persona, and he fights villains himself too but is much more brutal about it than any hero.

Other superheroes really hate him, and know damn well his experiments are incredibly dangerous, often making more supervillains as a result. But he is too damn charismatic and popular to actually do anything about.

Batman wold endlessly seethe about him almost daily.
