why was one greenlit for a show while the other wasn't?despite one being done by their veteran creators?

APC and The Ripping Friends are all shit which he had more control over and had troubled productions, makes sense why they’d rather greenlight a show made by his alumni or people influenced by him rather than him himself given his infamous deadlines and shit.

They were similar and aimed towards girls but Mighty B was more widely appealing in theory to nerd girls and more but fails in execution as all women just wanted to be Stacy always anyway.

Yes, Ren and Stimpy was a huge hit at first, but its popularity dropped rapidly because John K. took an eternity to deliver season two, so for almost a year all Nick could do was repeat the same seven episodes over and over again. The fad died out and people were bored with the show by the time new episodes came out.That's why Nick fired John K, and that's why they didn't want to work with him again. If John actually had a fucking work ethic, Nick would probably be the Ren and Stimpy network instead of the Spongebob network. Dumbass fumbled the bag on a level most people could never dream of.
