TFW superheroes who have their secret IDs exposed on video can now claim it's an AI video and that's a perfectly acceptable explanation.
>>151708819this was my complaint with the last spiderman without dr strange movie, the whole thing was portrayed as "ai" with mysterio
How can JJJ tell Peter's Spider-Man pictures are legit anymore?
>>151708962I don't know. With Photoshop too.
>>151708962He's a pro.
I miss secret IDs in comics. Is Spider-Man like the only classic character at Marvel who still has one?
>>151708819Superhero comics should be ended for good.
>>151708962How has the Daily Bugle/Planet lasted this long after the death of print media?
>>151708962He's dealt with fake photos of people dressing up as Spider-Man and Photoshop. As long as it showed Spider-Man as a menace he'd take it. At least with Peter he knows they're the real deal.
>>151711713I just don't get how people are going to be able to tell the difference with how good it's gotten.
>>151711832It probably helps to have very high res cameras.
Being into comics and not liking secret ids is suspect. But the industry has let in a lot of people who would rather deconstruct than adhere to what made comics so good in the first place.
>>151711713>At least with Peter he knows they're the real deal.and even then Peter has faked photos to keep his identity secret
>>151708962Parker! This Spider-Man has four extra arms! J.J. Jameson is nobody's fool! And why are you wearing a poncho?!
>>151711673they kind of addressed this in the MCU spider-man movies. JJJ is now that universe's Alex Jones and he has a podcast yelling about spider-menace instead of globalists.
>>151713389He’s turning the spiders gay.
Why do you think the US government’s been throwing endless money at AI? Frazzledrip’s out there and now they can just claim it’s AI.
>>151711673Comics had JJ branch out into podcasting, and it's noted most people started listening for the same reason they bought the Daily Bugle to begin with, to laugh at JJ's ranting on Spider-Man. Otherwise, they maintain their website and are in the heart of superhero town, so they're almost always at the center of major news events practically every issue.
>>151708819That might work if the secret identity is a major celebrity, but not for anyone else. Like, in the Marvel universe, everybody knows Tony Stark. It's not a big leap to think that somebody would pick him to frame as Iron Man. I'm sure you've seen a generated image or two of a superhero taking off his mask and it's some politician or other well-known figure. It makes sense. But it doesn't work for a nobody. It requires people to buy that a villain arbitrarily picked Joe Schmoe out of millions of nobodies, and Joe's friends and family just happened to have a bunch of anecdotes that match up with Such-And-Such-Man's career. It's not convincing.
>>151711713>At least with Peter he knows they're the real deal.Well, most of the time.
>>151708819even in real life there are systems in place to tell if a picture or video has been altered in any way.
>>151708819>the footage of Mistah Jay being anally destroyed by Commissioner Gordon is a deepfake!
>>151710259Yeah, fuck joe quesada or whoever was the editor back in 2001.
