>30 years later and there still isn't an movie accurate toy of Buzz Lightyear
it hurts bros
>>

Buzz's wings in the movie are long to fit inside because they'd overlap. His karate action arm is also in the way between his wings. And his helmet couldn't fit all the way in his body because it'd get in the way of his functions. A movie accurate Buzz is simply impossible.

Either shrink the wings or embiggen buzz or have one slightly further forward.

Helmet CAN work with modern electronics being smaller than the 90s stuff.

>Just have it not be movie accurate
>>
Reminder that the toys will battle an army of Buzz Lightyears in 5.
>>
>>151709692
>it can't be movie accurate do to animation design vs mechanics in reality
>ok, let's make the bare minimum number of compromises
>wtf, it's not movie accurate then
Yes, we've moved passed it.
>>
>>151709473
It was proven to be impossible for a movie accurate buzz toy to be real, with the main factors being the wings and the helmet
>>
>>151709770
Isn't that basically what they did with the toys released for TS3?
>>
the modding community on youtube has been trying for years

What if he was Fuzz Lightyear and he was really hairy

Sounds like a MotU gimmick.

I had a really cool buzz light-year as a kid. Can't remember what happened to it but this reminded me of it
>>
>>151709473
It depressed me how I only recently found out he is just movie magic and stuff we take for granted like his wings and visor are impossible to actually exist.
>>
you mean one thats alive?

I hate this lazy shit
Buzz should not still be a popular toy in universe
>>
>>151709738
>>151710973
Should be an army of Buzz Funko-pops.
>>
>>151709473
FUCKIN FUCK YOU WE STILL DONT HAVE SIDS TOYS AND YOU GET 40 DIFFERENT BUZZES

He'd say "To conditioner and beyond," and then he'd use shampoo and conditioner

And it'll stay that way since they keep making more Toy Story movies and adding new features to the Buzz Lightyear action figure
>>
>>151710973
Buzz was popular 15 years later from 1 to 3 in real life, a similar timeline isn’t unexpected. Toy companies rarely let a successful toyline stay dead
>>
>>151710973
But didn't that pic shows the container containing all the buzz was thrown and forgotten in the middle of nowhere? It's clear that container supposed to be from early 2000's and was thrown away after buzz stopped being the buzz.
>>
>>151712072
Yeah but three is already more than a decade ago right now and buzz already fell out of popularity during that movie let alone 26 years later after toy story 2.
>>
>>151712072
Ummmm if Buzz Lightyear was so popular, then why did nobody buy Lightyear toys? Very suspicious
>>
>>151709473
I had a toy as a kid and it never occurred to me it wasn't accurate. The helmet flipped back and the wings popped out. What was wrong?
>>
>>151712178
A mint Buzz would be a collector item by now
I want to see a bunch of fat nerds trying to secure them
>>
>>151709473
Yeah there is, one came out alongside the movie >>151709971

To Infinity and YOUR MOM

My biggest gripe is that his laser was never actually a laser (like in a laser pointer) but just a blinking light. I guess that would've been obviously too dangerous for kids, but it's still a shame.
