Anyway you're missing the point because your vision is distorted by the waifu goggles you're wearing. She's a fun character because she's sassy, greedy, unpredictable, and tends to underestimate others. Being an antagonist gives her much more freedom to express these traits than being a protagonist would. She doesn't have to be a mustache-twirling evil antagonist, she could be the sort of morally grey antagonist who occasionally works with the heroes against bigger threats. There is even room for a bit of character growth as she learns not to underestimate the good guys. Fully reforming her into a heroic figure would be a mistake though, she would just be boring if that happened.
