Let me tell you one word. Timing. To close out a trilogy, you want as much attention as possible, so a summer release makes the most sense.Next year, 2026, is the World Cup, so a lot of attention will be there. 2027 feels too soon to have a third film ready. 2028 is the Olympics, hosted in Los Angeles of all places, so another packed summer. That leaves 2029. I’m leaning toward July 2029. June could work too, but July 2029 sounds better.
>>151721885Nice.
>>151721885You're retarded, why the fuck do you think Disney would even have a sequel ready by 2026
>>151722573I said 2029.
>>151721885Yes but why did you take the mental gymnastics route of "they won't release Zootopia 2 because of the World Cup and the Olympics" instead of the more sensible route of "movies take about three years to make, so it will be released in three years." For fucks sake Toy Story 5 is releasing next year, why didn't Disney delay that because of rhe World Cup?
>>151723724What's wrong with the World Cup and Olympics association?
>>151722573based dyslexic anon
>>151723829I know he meant he wanted to release in 2029 you clown, but why the fuck would he bring up 2026-2028 events if there's zero correlation between those events and the release of Zootopia 3 in 2029? That's like me saying "Halloween is in October. Mid-term elections are in November. That makes December the prime candidate to release Spider-Verse 3.">>151723792Nothing, but it doesn't make sense. Those events have never had any detrimental effect on the release of an animated film, so why even open the thread up with that connection
>>151723792Everything
>>151725937No
>>151723792Nothing
>>151723724They are based events
I never watched the Olympics or the World Cup live
