But it's just the TV equivalent of clickbait since the "Simpsons in the future" episodes tend to contradict each other pretty frequently.For example that episode showed Marge dying before Homer. Yet another such episode showed Homer dying before Marge and then Marge marries Flanders. THEN Marge dies because the joke is every women Flanders marries ends up dead (also yet another future Simpsons episode had Maude Flanders alive in the future).
