Parents of /co/ do you share media you enioyed as kid with your children? I showed my 5 year old the gumby movie today since i recall loving it when i was his age. He was captivated by the idea of stop motion and enjoyed it a lot. It was something else seeing this movie again after almost 30 years and im glad i could share it with my son. Ive gotta think of other films to show him. Maybe this is just me being an old fart but new cartoons dont hold a candle to the old stuff.

I don't have any kids but I do like Gumby also. He really inspired me to make cool shit with clay and indie filmmaking as a kid. Hopefully he can do the same for you.

OG Thomas the Tank Engine
Super Mario
Captain N
BTAS (too advanced for them but they like it)
Looney Tunes are golden because my parents join in and comment how they themselves watched as kids
Scooby Doo
Dora the Explorer
Care Bears

My kids are much younger than yours, but the old cartoons don't bother them. It'll likely change when they enter prime school years, but I dunno. Maybe anons with older kids will add their thoughts.
