It's why I'll check in with an artist if I want to redraw something that I like.My best experience was drawing the first issue of The Secret and then dropping it for awhile. I just needed to get the negative emotions out of me, since it was a very low period in my life.About a year later, I see someone on /co posting the comic and sharing it with everyone. The whole thread enjoyed the comic so much more than I thought.I decided to finish the next four issues of the comic. And though the inner-critic is embarrassed by a lot of the art, I'm really happy with the story and how it's connected with audiences.

Talani here is a mute autistic girl, who is kind of meant to fuel a theory that Na'vi shouldn't live on Earth. There's an unverified claim that "illnesses" like autism didn't exist on Pandora, and Na'vi have only been diagnosed with it since arriving on Earth.This idea was inspired from the second film, when Earth medicine and Na'vi medicine clashed. I thought to myself, "Do the Na'vi have psychological disorders like we do? Would they have any way of discovering it?"
Ares is the cool, supportive boyfriend who had a childhood history with Sylara. I really hope I get to draw that backstory some day, because I personally find it very romantic and sad.
But really, this whole comic is just an excuse to draw a massive size difference. I like tall girls and short kings.
