I made a website for my surrealist dark fantasy comic. Let me know what you think!https://rensawakening.com/
Had me in the thumbnailThought that was the deep dark depths of a gaping asshole in the catalogNow then, advertising is against the rules. Goodbye
>>151736686I appreciate the interaction regardless.
>>151736654Anon, advertising breaks the rules, BUT it's an accepted unspoken rule that ever web comic creator gets one free pass to storytime shill. >>151736686Oh thank god I'm not alone.
>>151736686>>151736906I didn't see it until you mentioned it.But it's still easier for me to see the face. You have issues.>Verification is not required.
>>151736686huh it does look like an asshole and fingers entering it
>>151736686Oh so I wasn't the only one... although it happened to me with a previous thread OP posted, many months ago>>151736654Sorry about that OP. Dude this is awesome. Love those character designs, the use of colors in the first chapter, and also in the second one. Last page looks beautiful. Also the landscape in general. The story and characters also seem interesting. Very good OP, but I'm dead serious when I say that it looks like an anus
>>151736906>gets one free passim pretty sure this exact thread has been made more than once
>>151739363Yay, thank you! I’ve been trying to see the anus, but I’m not porn-brained enough. If it attracts the gooners, that’s fine. They are among my target audiences. It at least forces people to look. But yeah, the fact that you like it makes me happy.>>151739383Yep. I come around every so often. Is it shilling if I’m not asking for money? I just figured a web comic belongs on /co/
>>151739434idk man it feels kinda lame that artists can't share their work here. Like, I would understand most negative posts on 4chan if the OP was behaving like an idiot and if their stuff was low quality and boring, but I don't feel like this is the case here. I have no problem with most people showing their stuff, even indie devs on /v/. And they are literally asking for money
>>151739501You can, just work out being a bit more subtle and less overtly advertise-y
>>151736654>giant asshole and spread cheeks in the OP image KekBut it's funny because this thread gets posted like once a year and it still gets me every time
>>151736686>>151739746I thought it was just me.
>>151739434The anons crying about advertising are being shitheads. We have had several artists come here and just straight up link their comic or dump the weakly chapters to drum up interest. If you want to avoid those types just pretend you're not the artist and start a thread with a hook (hot character, good joke, etc.), gauge their interest, and then shift into storytiming a few few chapters if things feel right. It's what I did.
>>151736654How much preg content does this webcomic have? If none, do you plan on having any preg content on it in the future?
>>151736906>comic creator gets one free pass to storytime shillIn seveal cases the creators storitimed their comics multiple times here, and mods were fine with it.
>>151736654Interesting stuff, looking forward to more!Is there a set release schedule or do you make more whenenever?
>>151736755>im not mad :^)
>>151739933Thank you>>151741106You’ll just have to stay tuned>>151741634Thank you! I’ve been attempting 4-6 pages per month (that’s extremely infrequent, but I do work and go to college full time). My life does regularly disrupt this schedule.>>151741643I am actually very mad :^(
>>151736654you should collab with azfk.he likes stuff like this a lot and probably make a video about it.
>>151736654Oh. Thought it was a gaping vagina
>>151742148>https://rensawakening.com/The site could so with an "About" and an archive that lets people see the dates. If latest update was in 2018 I know it is dead, if last update was in 2025 there is hope.
>>151736654I think it's fine it's not bad, but it seems that it mostly just has mystery boxes going on. The comic needs a narrative hook to give readers a reason to care, or it seems like it's just a bunch of stuff happing without explanation. Why should anyone care about what's going on? Why should the readers care about the mystery in the first place?
