I am 100% positive the story of dream and nada is a confession about some really heavy shit neil gaiman did to a girlfriend.
>>151738031I’m pretty sure all of Sandman is Neil projecting his insecurities onto women. The repeated occurrence of three women operating almost as one being, especially the Furies, makes me think most of his trauma stems from an orgy gone very wrong.
>>151738031who?
>>151738031trapped her in a cage and cast her from his life because she wouldnt marry him?after typing that out, i think i believe you.
Knowing him now, it's quite possible. Perhaps the Muse story also involves him abusing a woman too. I already found him strange for portraying gay as normal people and his love for tranies, but after the accusations that he was a maniac, it all makes sense.
>>151738161>I already found him strange for portraying gay as normal peopleim pretty sure he didnt do that, desire was it drives gay people to fuck and desire (the character) wasnt exactly a good force in the entire story.
I tried reading sandman but tapped out when he had found all his artifacts
>>15173818330% of the entire story is basically monotonous nonsense
>>151738183The single-issue stories are best.Read "The Sound of Her Wings" (#8), "Men of Good Fortune" (#13), and "Ramadan" (#50), if anything.
