At what point (or season) did you lose complete interest in adventure time?

When Finn's Dad came along, by then the show was just dead, it had lost everything that made Adventure Time good and it became hard to find. Netflix had it but it was always incomplete.

I had already pretty much lost interest and was watching out of habit but I never even made it through this episode. It just became apparent that the show was completely up it's own ass and obsessed with deconstructing itself instead of providing an actual narrative. And it was also evident that every male character as going to be revealed to be a retarded loser to make the boring girlbosses look better. I don't think I've watched another second of it since this aired.

I don’t know what the Vampire King’s about and I don’t care. The porn’s better than whatever crap they’re putting out now, and that’s all that matters. I also gave up Steven Universe before the movie/Future, Star Vs. at the end of Season 3, and Korra at the end of Season 1. I don’t have time for shows going bullshit, and I’ll only catch up again if they stop it, or it becomes so bad it’s fascinating to watch its decline like Rick and Morty.

Those were where it became clear that no matter how much setup had been done, sometimes across multiple seasons, the writers couldn't be trusted not to piss it all away out of some kind of unseen internal rivalry where they pettily flung shit at each other's work to make room for their own special ideas. There was no creative vision here, just a bunch of different people trying to scream over each other.
>>151739137Keep in mind I was someone that was watching sporadically and not consistently.Anyway I started to find it questionable when they de-aged Princess Bubblegum since I figured it wouldn't go anywhere.And I tried to like the Flame Princess thing but deep down I figured it would be the same god damn direction.And the whole missing arm thing and getting raped by LPS was again another thing that irked me, and yet I kept on going.But what actually pissed me off permanently was the little Raspberry princess wanting to behead Finn or some shit. Some reason at that point is when I realized the characters had no fucking integrity. It felt completely fucking forced to me at that point so bye bye.That all said, it's a shame that a lot of people are turning on the whole franchise. Didn't deserve to end up the way it has.
