Some probably would enjoy to start off campy and go dark, but not me.

>>151755048I mean let's be real, it's not as if there isn't strong swaths of overlap between pulp and capeshit, Orpheus has been here since the very beginning and it's obvious where he takes his inspiration from. The avenger parodies do indeed suck, but they're only contained to a few episodes with most of the focus being on the Blue Morpho where it should be. I think the larger issue is how a lot of the supporting cast gets cut due to the new setting. That and the OSI haven't been interesting since season 4 and have more than overstayed their welcome by season 6.

Season 2 onwards is like watching an entirely different show so it'd be good to have the contrast of how they started vs how the show ended up, id say
