Then also Superman Returns takes place in 2006, meaning his version of Superman II's events happened around 2001.And the Reeve Superman films never acknowledged that Batman existed or not so it didn't really matter which Batman existed on his world in Superman 1-4. For all we know it could've been Keaton, it could've been Adam West, it could've been Bale.
