Has anyone else become disappointed with HW as a character? By the time the writers were finished with Islands and Elements, the show was already cancelled and they had almost no time left to flesh her out. This season was supposed to give her some spotlight, but she just got shafted again. I was disappointed when it got announced she would be a main character this season. It meant she would be joining in on multiverse stuff that I felt didn't fit her. Plus she didn't have a connection to Fionna unlike Simon. Season 2 has been a let down and HW hasn't really done much or been given much episode focus. She got some time for herself in the first two episodes but she really doesn't do much after that. This entire season is meant to complete her character arc and give her a backstory. By doing that, the writers are putting an end to her story but season 2 hasn't been satisfying at all. They kinda blew their load and I don't think she has much left story to tell with her after this. She really should have been put into a story that could utilize her story concepts to the fullest extent. Now they have almost nowhere to go with her and any potential has been zapped away. Even if her ending is satisfying with these final episodes, it doesn't make the road to getting there any better.
