Picard even allowed Picard day to be a thing even though he hates kids. He is more than welcoming towards celebrations and cultural stuff. Hell, when Worf went into his lost of faith episode and made a fucking fire inside his own room, he only complained about the fact that he made a fire in the first place for safety reasons, not because he was having a crisis of faith and even encouraged him to go into his pilgrimage to get some resolution.
