>Burbank, CA — Disney Channel has announced two fresh projects from Disney Television Animation, each helmed by acclaimed animation talent.
Leafy Carrot
Created and showrun by John Trabbic III, best known for his work on SpongeBob SquarePants and as creator of Middlemost Post, Leafy Carrot promises a wild ride through a surreal world where anything can happen. The series follows the titular duo—a carrot and a leaf—on wacky, unpredictable adventures filled with slapstick chaos, expressive poses, and exaggerated proportions. Trabbic describes the show as “a fever dream of friendship and comedy, where vegetables can be heroes and the laws of reality are optional.” Meanwhile, Disney is adapting the cult-favorite 2012 indie game Scarygirl into an animated series, with Monica Ray (Harvey Beaks, Big City Greens) serving as showrunner. The series centers on Scarygirl, a stitched-up heroine with a big heart, as she ventures outside her eerie homeland and attempts to adjust to the human world. Ray’s vision blends gothic whimsy with heartfelt storytelling, promising a balance of surreal aesthetics and relatable themes of belonging, identity, and friendship. Disney Branded Television executive 'Ayo Davis' states that the two series reflect their commitment to “pushing animation into unexpected spaces.” Leafy Carrot is slated to target younger audiences with its zany humor, while Scarygirl aims at tweens and teens who crave adventurous storytelling with emotional depth. Both shows are expected to premiere in 2027, joining Disney Channel’s lineup of original animated comedies and fantasy adventures.

>Beanmouth styles
>The link is for the Rugrats reboot's initial announcement
>AI art
>AI not even replicating John Trabbic III's artstyle on SpongeBob and Middlemost Post
I smell "my uncle works at DTVA" claims all over this thread.

Uh, OP, It's a little too early for April Fools' jokes. Left looks more like a Nickelodeon show while right looks kinda boring. Plus, both pics reek of AI art. Better luck, next time.

Yeah im gonna look forward to the one on the right compared to the one on the left.

Even if it was real a modern cartoon inspired by the 2000s UPA revival style would be cool to see.

Even though this is fake, I wouldn’t mind seeing MMP’s creator make another show
Don’t crucify me for this, but I thought it was alright

Use a better model next time OP, the piss filter gives it away.
