>>151765285I don't think Demona would waste the Keys of Power as a back-up plot. She sincerely felt subjugating humans is the closest she'll make to a compromise with Goliath and the clan. Plus she planned for it for a long time. I think she got the idea to steal the egg after the Free Comic Book Day story, when she stole Angelika's locket from the museum and she got nostalgic about her. It would've taken place in the small time skip before she got Cleopatra's necklace.
