I do wonder what they're gonna do with Fatom Eve in the show. The fat fetish wasn't nearly as mainstream when she showed up in the comics more than a decade ago. Is there going to be some acknowledgment that Mark's tastes aren't as strange as they were presented as, back then? Is she even going to lose the weight in the show? They could keep her fat.

Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and TMNT, however, all had close to a dozen animated show reboots since they first appeared in comics. Not necessarily a bad thing, but a sign that their IP holders are willing to use newer shows as part a reboot cycle similar to certain toy brands (Transformers, Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcut) in order to keep those characters relevant for obvious reasons: money.After a while, however, it's annoying seeing DC/Marvel/TMNT toss out previous animated shows' plots by starting over from scratch, redo origin stories once again, and go over similar story beats once again. I'm not saying Superman or Spider-Man needs one definitive, long-running animated series that MOSTLY sticks to a particular run from the comics similar to manga-based anime. However, the constant reboot cycle does kinda make those characters feel kinda stale after the umpteenth show reboot, especially if the newer shows suck compared to earlier ones (Batman: Caped Crusader vs Batman: TAS). It's as bad as seeing umpteenth remakes of A Star Is Born.

Granted, certain characters (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, Lux Luthor, The Joker, Darkseid) had already been used in Super Friends several years earlier, which kinda segued from set of shows to the next with a bit of continuity.
