>>151770973The first movie had such good 2D animation too, I loved how expressive and lively it was seeing the higher budget it was on compared to the golden age episodes, I enjoyed Sponge Out of Water for the most part but you can tell how even that films animation was a downgrade. Heck, Sponge Out of Waters whole marketing focused on the 3D hybrid part despite that shit not happening till the third act of the movie cause execs feel like 3D is more profitable.
