What is his future? He will not ever be allowed to work in Hollywood again, nor will any small indie studio hire him
>>151772077
>>151772077Because a woman lied about him and the industry just accepts her word beyond reality. And justin championed that mentality and culture. He said it was good. He said women are to be trusted. He beleived that these people would accept him for being a silly and annoying man.
>>151772077I earnest believe will never hear from him again. No one, and I mean NO ONE wants anything to do with him, and I don't think he wants to work either. Usually when these guys get cancelled they go on a round of podcasts bitching about cancel culture but he's completely vanished from all outlets. He's probably in his mansion being hooked up to VR and a motorized onahole. Maybe he's been dead for months in there and no one's noticed.
>>151772831>a woman lied about himShe successfully got a restraining order which is not easy to do without having justifiable evidence.
why did they kick him off the show for good when the case was dismissed?
>>151774399from judges that let violent criminals out on bail 25+ times i seriously doubt it.
>>151774593Alright so you've got nothing. He has a restraining order against him whether you like that or not.
>>151774580Raping a woman or a child, even if allegedly, is an automatic death sentence to you as a creator. Nobody is going to associate with you, aside from maybe an extremely niche contrarian group of people.
>>151772831Yeah that has been the way of things since 2015.
>>151773065Maybe he can team up with Kyle Carozza and Chris Savino and make a new studio called Diddle Toons or Noncimation
i doubt anyone wants to work with the rick and morty crew since the production has been so bad
>>151772077I would support any project this man does>>151772831every time I've heard Roiland talk about issues that hollywood people repeat mindlessly, he repeats them mindlessly, and then says "or not, I mean that could be a lie. Maybe they lied to us" which is.... fucking sensible. and it turns out, correct.
>>151775447I honestly would love if all the canceled creators got together and blew everyone else out of the water, mud-bricks-with-no-straw styleit's too late for my man bill cosby, but that obese lard they claimed did stuff to kids, whatsisname, he could be involved. dude made like dozens of good shows, and the kids always said they had a great time on them.
>>151772077i just watched a few episodes of the newest season of rick and mortyi could have sworn his name literally pops up as one of the executive producers. if i didn't hallucinate or have a false memory, he's still involved, and people who think he's not are hugging the copium
>>151775447>>151775630>texting an older teen when most of the u.s. and developed europe age of consent is 16-17 is the same as pedo that actually touches prepubescent kidsbefore you kill yourself, did you know what minors can be tried as adults for crimes? you don't think that's a little strange?
>>151775978He created the show so he gets a piece of it and always will, involved or not. Every Batman movie lists Benjamin Melnicker and Michael Uslan as producers even though they haven’t been involved at all with any of them — they bought the rights to make a Batman movie, WB wanted those rights back, and they made a deal that involved giving those guys credit (and money) forever.
I watched enough of his work to have gotten his message that caring about things is for losers, so I don't care what happens to him.
>>151776105>always get a piece>involved or not"always get a piece" literally means he is involved and always will be
>>151775978Stephen Hillenberg is still an executive producer on SpongeBob, which should tell you everything about the role of executive producer.
>>151772077at any given time in LA there are about 5000 people actually working in film and tv and another 5000-10000 who have worked in and will again likely work in, that's just how gig economies areon top of that LA attracts probably 50,000 newcomers every year, most of whom are total shit and never go anywhere except home or the gutterof those 50,000 annual newcomers some are just fresh off the bus with no idea what they're doing, some are seasoned professionals from other parts of the US or other countries, all are competing for those 5000 jobsand you want this one guy who can't even be normal in meetings to get the job he lost years ago back? get fucked idiot
>>151776204so he's still involved. got it.
>>151774399the courts favor women. next question.
>>151776181Jennifer Tilly makes 10 million dollars a year from The Simpsons because she got a little piece of the show in the settlement when she divorced Sam Simon. How involved is she?
>>151772077His future is fun and money, people act like he lost but did he really lose? Dude is rich and is getting paid still thanks to Rick and Morty. He’s out of the public eye sure but he’s loaded. He’s probably buying hookers and Pizza Hut, and having them suck his dick and kiss his ass while he plays videogames.
>>151776218he long dead
>>151776011You seem a little triggered there. Did something feel a little too close to home?
>>151776217The problem there is that to get work you have to know people, which means you have to network. The system is set up so that people are Required to go to LA with no plan, no concept of what they are doing minutes after college because anyone and everyone will gladly tell them that is 100% what they are supposed to be doing. I had a dozen professors and even more various working professionals tell me that my first step towards landing work is to relocate to LA. They get right to work going to conventions, showings, independent viewings etc and get to know people. So loads of people were steered in that direction and inevitably failed since they had to somehow make it in one of the most expensive cities to live in with no guarantee they would ever get anything at all. There is a much larger number of people who got a single gig, worked for about 5-ish months, then never got anything else ever again after that. But most of them get a big head, assume that they are now professionals and will refuse to ever go get a wage job to pay bills, which fucks them over even more. The rest will get a side job, that evolves into their main job and they never really talk about that one time they were a story artist or background painter years ago.
>>151776970The absolute worst thing that buries a lot of people is that they land their first gig, and it's something that is later cancelled mid production. So nothing ever gets to appear on screen anywhere, and might be under NDA hell forever so they cannot claim that they had a high profile gig at all to any later interviewers. At best they come off like someone trying to bullshit their way into a job by claiming some fake title project that never existed. But they also fall into that same trap of never wanting to take a normal job if they go too long between gigs, holding onto some mindset that any wagie work is now beneath them.
>>15177459325+, and 50+ too. I've seen one that was 79 times out. And eventually he got shot down lol.
>>151776900you sounds salty, maybe tumblr knows your answer.
>>151772077He can always become a right wing grifter if he ever runs out of money

>>151772831From what I can tell nobody really gives a fuck about the "he said, she said" DV police report, it was the sexting with teenagers that creeped everyone out
>>151778126I would unironically watch this
>>151772803I like Roiland writing.
Say what you will, but I still think The Unmarketables should have gotten a full series.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuVoYSKjAek
>>151778368>THE AUDIENCE WANTS MORE FROM THEM THAN THEY ARE CAPABLEEEE OF GIVING>THEIR THEME SONG DOESN'T RHYME!fucking kek. I also love how the swears are intentionally louder than the bleeps
>>151772077>co-creator of money making show>not sentenced to serious prison time or labor>doesn't have to work ever againHe's set for life and we'll probably never see him ever again until the obituaries hit in a decade with the cause of death being alcohol poisoning
>>151776970Why not just make shit locally? Why does it all have to be concentrated in LA?
>>151772077Becoming the next Andy Dick.
>>151778265You'd watch a cartoon made by them or about them?
>>151778488Ask the big studios that, not me. They want their shit to be in LA and nowhere else. always have been.
>>151778126Replying to your own posts makes you look like more of a faggot than before. Kill yourself.
>>151778945Kek these were my posts>>151778126>>151778721I honestly debated it though, was thinking of throwing in>JULIA VICKERMAN, HUMAN RESOURCES>SKYLAR PAGE, FINANCIAL ADVISORbut by then I already clicked post. Whatcha gonna do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
>>151772831I've yet to see anyone demonstrate that she lied. Or that she told the truth for that matter. But I'm pretty sold on him being a horrible person to work with, because of the stories people told once they had permission to say their boss sucks. Even on a shitty boss scale "he barely showed up except when he wanted to play jokes on us (i.e. be an annoying manchild that did nothing useful any more)" is unusually shitty.
>>151772831I can't prove he did it, and I can't prove he didn't. All I know is Justin is a hack, so his fate is meaningless to me
I used to be friends with the guy, haven't talked to him since the allegations though. I think he was dating the blonde one from Chaos Chaos (the band that did the Can You Feel It? song) and I always wondered if she was the one that called the cops or if it was a different girl he was fucking. He and his ex Abbie were a total mess but I know it wasn't her.
Justin Roiland is totally still being paid Rick and Morty royalties, so he won in the grand scheme of things.
>>151774593>from judges that let violent criminals out on bail 25+ timesThat would just make it that much more damning then
>>151778161As an aside, us White men are going to make hebes legal as nature intends. It's no surprise that went away when women started to vote.
>>151772077If he wanted to, he could probably start another studio himself and find enough people who would be willing to work with them, and at least release stuff on YouTube or something. Maybe do a Kickstarter or Indiegogo or something for something bigger.
He could bring back Grandma's Virginity
