HW directly associates losing Finn on the level of losing her parents, the whole reason why she went “hard meat don’t get eat” in the first place. Her logical side is trying to have her avoid taking the next step with Finn so she can’t be hurt like that again but that’s impossible since her emotion side, her “Heart” has already accepted Finn as her everything. So she’s in a losing position no matter what she does in that sense. She’ll lose Finn one day but she “wins” by making the best of the time he has left in the world.
Honestly Finn is a pretty cool guy. I don't know why people don't like him?
