>>151774739I liked Ross's work. I read kingdom come, justice, the silver age book where batman stops some black kid from killing and superman tries to feed everyone and the marvel history book thing. IDK if he did the interiors for anything else. I'm pretty sure his problem is that he takes way too long to do interiors so they only have him do covers
>>151774739By "artsy" do you just mean "highly rendered/painted"? Ross is many things, but I don't think he has a particularly strong command of subtext, nor does he tap into cultural in a meaningful way. I do think there is a place for cape comics to participate in this though, like Fall Sunrise.
