No work is 100% original - shoulders of giants, great artists steal, etc. Do you think every ancient myth, legendary hero, fantasy race, were each made up by a single guy and preserved unchanged to the modern day? I'm all for people getting credit and pay for their work, but at some point in time or amount of difference, you have to stop claiming ownership over an entire concept.
