>>151793616Honestly, what are they supposed to do with these characters? Boomers who can remember the '50s are in their late 70s now and probably not a big market for comics, certainly not an expanding one. '50s nostalgia mostly appeals these days to reactionaries who are more interested in a return to segregation and women getting back in the kitchen, not Archie's wholesomeness. Probably the only way to return Archie to tradition would be to reset it in the pre-9/11 '90s and appeal to millennial nostalgia instead.
