Why aren't /co/ artists mocking censorship taboos anymore
>>

because we've moved past "a small group of people get to decide what everyone else can do because they have a huge backlog of majority elderly voters backing them up, but everyone's allowed to disagree"

to "a small group of people get to decide what everyone else can do because they're young, energetic, autistically obsessive, mindbroken, and have literally nothing else to do. they don't watch TV, they don't play videogames, and they're being obviously manipulated in a way that would have made Orwell go 'come on guys, bit on the nose.' and any disagreement paints a target on you. they can have anyone they want disappeared, they just say he touched a butt and out he goes.

Because most liberals support the censorship of today. Especially the banning of heroic White Heterosexual Characters and sexy female characters with boobs.

The actual answer isn't as overtly political as some would be lead you to believe. In reality the grand majority of high level creative and directorial positions in the industry are held by talentless nepobabies who are ruthless control freaks because their sociopathic millionaire parents are too. They just hide behind either side of politics because it gives their fucked up behavior a veneer of being reasonable instead of showing it for the near random punching down and bullying of their peers that it actually is.

You can just choose to ignore what fags on Twitter are doing.

anon, the massively rich are not known for being careful and buttoned-down with potentially offensive content
>>151792702
they can destroy your life and your career now. we've gone far past "haha how can you be cyberbullied just shut your eyes haha"
>>
>>151792105
They're not needed enough to test the limits of keeping their jobs. They want to draw gay kisses instead
>>
>>151792741
I wasn't really talking about the rich but more so the trustfund kids who get authoritative positions in creative departments soley because of who their parents are friends with.

You don't remember that just a few years ago nearly every major company was grifting all over preformative flavor of the month buzzfeed shit? It was in vogue back then. They pivot to what ever the zeitgheist is that gives them the most leway to convince people that their leveraging of the massive amount of power that they already have to step on people below them is justified.
>>
>>151792105
Because now it's all about inclusivity brainrot and fighting for endless care and fairness
>>
>>151792105
because the CCA is dead and the FCC doesn't really have any power anymore because everything is on streaming or cable. the FCC only regulates broadcast TV. all the shit you heard about the simpsons or yugioh or pokemon or batman bitching about was like fox or wb censors since they were on broadcast tv
>>
>>151792105
They are the ones enforcing it now
>>
>>151792105
Because you can make anything now and put it on the internet. Censorship isn't really against the media itself any more, it's become "cancellation" of creators for personal moral failures, real or just alleged. People talk about China but the West also has a social credit system and it's enforced voluntarily by the population.

Years ago? Fucking Visa and Mastercard are crushing the entire indie porn industry under their boots as we speak.

Yeah it's really fucking bleak right now.

Collective Shout (The activist group that pressured those companies in to rejecting "adult content" being either purchased or platformed.) Are fairly transparent about the "conservative and christian values" that inform their anti-porn stance. Which only serves to reinforces my original point. These people don't actually believe in anything or sincerely give a shig. They can and will grift around whatever makes their strong arming of people seem the most justified.

The broken glass one always felt word to me.
Like sure, it can be dangerious, but so splintered wood, or metal scraps, or any other pointy thing for that matter.
