Why did people like Doomsday Cock?
>>151793671They did?
>>151793671>people
>>151793671Nobody likes it/co/ thinks it's badComic Twitter thinks it's badDC themselves have pretty much ignored it
>>151793671No one liked it. It was scrutinized significantly more than most superhero comics because it was Watchmen-related. Johns brought this on himself.
>>151793671This is news to me. I mean I guess I liked a lot of the rebirth stuff so there's some value to it I guess. But I don't think anyone likes the story itself.
>>151793671>implying implications
>>151793671I don't think I've seen anyone actually like Doomsday Clock.
Given that Alan Moore does seem to actually get or like Superman I wonder how he would have written him alongside the Watchmen setting. I feel like having him around would probably have impacted a lot.
>>151793671>IT'SEvery time
>>151794802>Given that Alan Moore does seem to actually get or like SupermanHe wrote one of the best Superman stories of all time
>>151794815>Moore best Superman storyYeah but he called it Supreme.
>>151794837Eh, I always preferred Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? and For the Man Who Has Everything because I cannot stand that visual style of comic book.
>>151794815Couple of them at least. Would have been interesting to see what a more long term run would be like.
>>151794695I would like it if all comics were scrutinized to this level. Maybe then people wouldn't think writers like Johns, Bendis, and King are all that great.
>>151795184I really don't get how people can be so blind to quality that they praise whatever mainstream media is pushing. I honestly don't think modern fandoms can discern quality anymore it's like they've all been brainwashed into liking what they're told too.
