It's not that Pomni has anything special over Ragatha, other than not being burdened by the need to please everyone, she could tell Jax has his issues and didn't want to abandon him despite his attempts to push her away, as well as not having as much history with his bullying antics as the others and therefore no reason to think him as a lost cause yet.We don't know how much time has passed between episodes 6 and 7, but Pomni has probably been waiting for a good moment to talk things out with Jax, letting the dust settle and thinking about how to approach the subject, until Abel made contact with her. In fact, that it was Pomni asking Jax to help out with the escape attempt rather than trying to talk about their fight, was what got Jax out of his room I believe. Otherwise I'm pretty sure he would have just closed the door on her, like he kept rejecting all of her gestures of kindness.

While I enjoy the series as a whole, my favorite aspect of the show is the animation. CG isn’t typically my thing in the same way that 2D is, but this show is consistently inventive with its visual presentation (character animation especially).
