do you like european comics? do you have some? what european comics you read when you were kid, if any? what makes you like european comics or dislike them? what's your opinions on european comics?what are the differences between american comics and european comics that you like or dislike?thank yo
I haven't read too many. They weren't really a thing here when I was a kid, my friend had some Tintin books but his parents were European immigrants.I kind of see them as mostly having good art but not a whole lot going on story wise but that might be because most of my exposure to them was through Heavy Metal magazine. As an adult I have some I like though, I have a few Tintins and the first book of Roxanna and the Time Bird which was really good, I want to read the rest but they're long out of print.
>>151800217Yes, I like them. I own some. This decade, European comics are really the only comics I've been enjoying. I like that the people making these comics still maintain a passion for the artform and try to make something entertaining that doesn't just waste your time. Still, it seems rare even among Europeans. As others have said, a lot of European comics feel like something is missing. Maybe that's the American glutton in me speaking.
