Hi kids! I'm the Happy Hamster! Wooo hoo hoo hoo hoooo!
Is it /co?
>>151802097But that's clearly Chip
>>151802523Ah, yes. That;s a mistake.Too bad, because everything else about the Happy Hamster is legit and not weird, wrong or creepy.
>>151802097
>>151802097That hamster forced innocent families to watch PORNhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQh_CgnTyYQ
>>151803076And sold the contact information of children to modeling agencies.
>>151802097Doesn't look so happy to me...
>>151804394Because he no longer can exploit children.
Who's this furfag?What's the lore?
I'm surprsied anyone besides me cares about this thing. The Happy Hamster segments have such a weird, creepy vibe to them that's a lot spookier than actual "analog horror" to me. >>151806020It's from a company called Amvest Video who would sell VHS tapes of public domain cartoons called Kid Pics, one of their other products was a novelty record series that was a knock off of Alvin and the Chipmunks called The Happy Hamsters or something, so on some tapes in between cartoons there would be segments of a guy (purportedly the owner of Amvest) in costume as The Happy Hamster (in other words, legally distinct Alvin). The thing they're most known for is the Kid Pics fanclub that was promoted in a Happy Hamster segment, it was supposed to be like a newsletter/magazine type deal but IIRC none were ever made and apparently the guy running Amvest sent the info of the children to various marketing organizations including child modelling agencies like >>151803189 said to make a quick buck. To be clear he wasn't a pedophile but he also didn't care about the safety of the children.
>>151806272Also if any of this piques your interest you should watch this video by The Oddity Archive, I'm basically just paraphrasing it from memory anyhow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIeVrNq9pCE
>>151802097I wonder where the costume is nowadays?
>>151806272Holy shit, this sounds all made up.Scary shit.
