>>151806193Those Clock stories are only worth reading for Butch. Which is why we're going to read the one from this issue.
>How do we deal with this guy?>Just throw a fucking chair at his big dumb floating head!Butch rules
>How do we protect my identity?>I'll just beat the shit of you so badly they won't even be able to tell you're a person at all!
The Clock first appeared in 1936 and has the distinction of being the first costumed crimefighter in comics. But he never quite seemed to catch on and was given a kid sidekick in Butch in Crack Comics #21. She pretty much immediately took over and for all intents and purposes may as well have been the actual star of the stories while the Clock just kind of dicks around and maybe punches a guy one time. But it's not hard to see why, he's just Generic Man but she's a tween girl with more balls than him and actually has an entertaining personality. But when the Clock feature disappeared after Crack Comics #35 she did too.Anyway, the end.

>>151809366Pretty enjoyable as far it goes. The evil floating head on the first page definitely pulled me in.It's quite the honour to be the first costumed crime fighter, but with it just being a domino mask i feel he's no more costumed than many western heros.
