Would Beast Boy and Raven have made a good couple?
>>151810616No, as shown by the media where they are an item.
>>151810616No. It never made sense and shippers ruined the characters.By the way, does anyone else notice that Beast Boy turned modern Raven into Jillian Jackson, pink/purple hair and everything?
>>151810616Yeah, sure
>>151810616No, he would just be using her to get over Terra.
>>151810650Only a cultured writer at DC would dare make that connection and it would be pretty funny.
>>151810616What would make them a good couple?
>>151811038Not being one.
>>151810616>the ghost of Derrick Wyatt screeches in agony
Beast Boy is the only one that can crawl in her asshole.
>>151810650>does anyone else notice that Beast Boy turned modern Raven into Jillian Jackson, pink/purple hair and everything?Raven can use her empathy to sense what turns Gar on. She probably did it to herself.
>>151811128What about Bumblebee?
>>151811038Including Starfire and Terra.
>>151810616
>>151810616No. Out of the entire cast, Beast Boy is the last compatible with Raven as a love interest, he would honestly work better with Starfire. Honestly it pretty much goes Robin > Cyborg > Starfire > Beast Boy
>>151813223*least compatible
>>151811217>he's not just turned on by Raven herselfGrim.
>>151811221She is straight
>>151810616No. Beast Boy lacks some very basic maturity. He just can't take life seriously when he needs to. He seems to be the type to let the woman wear the pants in the relationship. Beast Boy isn't even physically attractive. Although in pic related comic, they do have better chemistry.
Yes, obviously. /co/ is the only place I ever encounter anyone who doesn't understand that they were already a thing by the end of the show.
They're a fine couple, but it suffers from the same problem as Aang/Katara. Female shippers hate it when the male appears younger and more childish, even if the actual dynamic is fine. They'll try to rationalize it with "chemistry" or something.
>>151815219Your comparison fails because Beast Boy/Raven was a popular ship when the cartoon was airing. I think it might have been the most popular cartoon pairing in fanfiction.net at some point. It was so popular DC brought it to comics to try and capitalize on its popularity.Aang/Katara was never popular. The actual popular ATLA ship was Katara/Zuko.
>>151815381>Beast Boy/Raven was a popular ship when the cartoon was airing>Aang/Katara was never popularWrong on both. They were lukewarm ships that women hated in favor of Zutara and RobRae
>>151810616No, Beast boy has the best chemistry with terra.Raven hates beast boys ass and barely tolerates him she'd go well with robin. Beast boy would also vibe with starfire but starfire only fucks chads so...
>>151815604>RobRae shipper>cites "chemistry"amazingly predictable>>151815219
>>151810616Sure
>>151810616there are more scenes of her finding Aqua lad attractive than her finding beast boy attractive
>>151814869How straight?
Rewatched the show again and I think yeah. They had their moments of connecting with one another and if the writers just let them get under each other's skin a little more it'd probably be more solid. For a few instances, Raven had a thing for Beast boy even if it was just superficial like pink Raven in the mirror episode. And it was maybe mutual with the werewolf episode, but that episode was lame. But, occasionally, it seemed like they'd keep each other in check in the tense moments. Raven knew what BB found funny, BB could get Raven out of funks that the other characters couldn't. There was even some acknowledgement of Raven caring for him with the whole Tera thing.Honestly, the big key is that if the writers pushed a little they'd find that the two characters could really dig into each other better than anyone else. They seem like the actual tense relationship that the writers tried to set Starfire and Robin as. I can imagine that if the show went further, Robin, Cyborg, and Starfire would've graduated to the Justice League (at least the former two), while Beast Boy and Raven would be left in charge of the new Teen Titans. They'd be the two bickering parents with three new titans they'd have to mentor over.

>>151811221That is not the best face.
>>151810616BBRae is a weird ship, because they feel like the kind of duo that would have almost nothing about them change should they get together. Beast Boy would still be an easygoing clown, Raven would still be mildly annoyed by his antics. The only real difference is that they would be slightly more considerate towards each other and occasionally kiss. Not saying that's bad, mind you. I guess they just already feel like a married couple in the show, which is why the ship is so popular.
>>151813223Yeah even the lesbian pairing would have better chemistry, kek
>>151810616No.
>>151818769By that logic there are more scenes of Starfire finding Aqualad attractive than finding Robin attractive.
raven's ideal partner would be robin if he were a bit less of a boyscout teamleader type. someone driven and serious but with fewer hangups and a more positive social outlook to be a foil to raven's neurosis. beastboy isn't really a good foil and they have nothing in common.
>>151819454gotchu senpai
Relationshit is boring and is for women, fags and other such retarded beings.I don't care which stupid cunt the hero is fucking.I watch superhero slop for action.
>>151815433Wtf are you talking about? a simple stroll to ffn will show you how lopsidedly popular bbrae has been since the show first aired. Robrae was never the femoid ship, especially because they were already into robstar. i'm not sure why you even brought up kataang, beast boy is a lot of things but he's not a beta twink whose whole character amounts to muh pacifism. the only similarity between kataang and bbrae is the younger male aspect, and its not hard to see why women (or men who are chads) actually liked beast boy compared to aang.
>>151815219>female shippers hate it>has twice as many fanfics as robstar on ffn and 7 times as many on ao3>the most popular ship>but women hate itrobinraven fags aren't mostly women, they're just either contrarians or robinfags who see him as batgod jr
>>151820335We're not talking about why Starfire x Robin may or may not work though. This is about Raven x Beast Boy.
