Are there any other examples of a show killing off its MC to end the series only for the showrunner to later go "yeah we fucked up" and then bringing them back in an audacious way? Only one I can think of aside from pic related is Dexter Resurrection

wasn't killed off to end the series, S2 already was a thing. It was just them drumming up interest by killing off someone for dramatic effect but never intending to make it stick
