Forte was a better villain for Beauty and the Beast than Gaston was. He fit more thematically with the curse over the castle, and as a foil for Beast and Belle.

I still have the DVD. There is actually a game on the DVD about playing piano. It was a pretty decent move for a mid-quel movie. And I did like Forte as a villain.
