Are they just stupid? You can't spidey sense a guy on a rooftop a few miles away.
>>
>>151822940
Yes he can
>>
He absolutely can

What is the limit of his sense if can fucking sense a sniper several miles away? Can he sense the bowel movements of people in a 50 mile radius too?
>>
>>151822957
he'll sense the projectile coming, not perhaps the sniper himself
>>
>>151822978
What if you had more than one sniper trained on him at a given time so if dodges one he has to contend with multiple other shots hurtling his way at super ssonic speeds?
>>
>>151822957
isn't the spider-sense like low precog that tells him "duck" no matter where the threat comes from?
>>
>>151822987
Could Bullseye calculate his spider sense if he knew about it?
>>
>>151822987

>gets shot while ducking
gg
>>

The limits are made up by the writers.

>Spiderman can just taking hit from Hulk
Why do you think bullet would damage him?
>>
>>151822957
You have the same mindset as people who wrote garbage like Punisher Max. No he doesn't sense bowel movements, why the fuck would he do that? He senses danger. That's it. Unless someone's going to be poised to kill him with an explosive diarrhea blast, that shit is just NEVER going to trigger it.
>>
>>151823092
Marvel's ""powerlevel"" used to be reasonable.
>>

>Unless someone's going to be poised to kill him with an explosive diarrhea blast, that shit is just NEVER going to trigger it.
What if they don't wash their hands and work at a food establishment?

>Marvel's ""powerlevel"" used to be reasonable.
were they really?
>>
>>151823092
Just think of it as RPG stats, it's easier than trying to make sense of how it would work in real life
>blunt force damage - increased resistance
>piercing damage - normal resistance
>magic damage - normal resistance
>radioactive damage - immune (???)

This is how Deadpool tried to kill Miles a while back, though he accidentally shot Shift (Miles's special needs clone) instead.
>>
>>151823213
>Shift (Miles's special needs clone)
lmao wut
>>
>>151823209
I didn't say the thread was worthless, I just said guns in the setting are considering half the important and even mostly unimportant characters either have skin completely immune to it, can avoid it like nothing or it's only viable against nameless regular goons....appreciate the lollipop though. Though guns are also proportionately powerful depending on the writer much like the characters themselves.
>>
>>151823306
Tbh, villains also used to use laser guns.
>>
>>151823317
We have trully regressed as a society

>Reed Richards use to create crime fighting gadgets for the police and Tony Stark used to give soldiers skates (its transistors, I ain't going to explain shit).
>Even crooks could get their hands on tractor beams.
>Modern Writers : "Wtf that's silly, lets make everything normal."
>Also modern writers: "Supergeniuses are useless since they do nothing for the setting lmao I am le smart."

Peter's Spider-Sense as written does let him dodge bullets, but it's definitely bullshit.

It's supposed to be based on how spiders, and many small creatures, have inhumanly fast reaction times to small shifts in air pressure that let them avoid potential danger.

But like, if you shoot a bullet at a spider, it's not going to have time to get out of the way of that, it's gonna die. There's limits to this stuff.
>>
>>151823152
>The proportionate strength of a spider.
Is 20 times your body weight really enough to make you one of the strongest people in the universe?
>>
>>151823317
I love laser guns, even sci fi stuff avoids using them now for just gun but futuristic ever since Aliens. You could do some cool stuff with lasers just being horrific weapons against living things or interesting reasons why they replaced the bullet but getting off topic now. I always as a kid liked and easily accepted how much Spider-Man TAS just had everyone using lasers since just made sense to me in the Marvel setting that they'd just become commonplace after a while especially since A.I.M would be selling them since they're the main makers/distributors earth wise plus it was an element touched on in other good Marvel cartoons like EMH and Ironman Armoured Adventures.
>>
>>151823429
Tbh, Laser Guns would be super dangerous if portrayed realistically. Imagine having to face against guns that shoot "projectiles" that instantly home in.
>>
>>151823371
At this point, I'd still go with the notion, since if you give gunfags an inch they basically demand every superhero ends up in "Punisher wipes his ass on the Marvel Universe" mode where a super soaker will fucking obliterate Galactus.
>>
>>151823371
What if you shot a bullet for a spider sized gun
>>
>>151823442
Aye plus factoring in how lasers that overcome their real life weaknesses would make them all the more lethal to functionally and reliably work wether at firearm size or something more akin to vehicle weapons. That's not even getting into fancy alternative stuff presented in fiction like radiation beams, lasers that just vaporise or disintegrate matter, heat rays that just burn anything it hits and as a childhood example that stuck with me you have the Dalek laser that can not only conduct lethally through water but on a direct hit just has that negative filter/skeleton flash effect which is pretty much instant painful death for most living things.
>>
>>151822940
This is a good question for pretty much every hero EXCEPT Spider-Man. You can easily snipe Batman and the rest of the Bat-Family, Captain America, Daredevil, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Fist, most of the X-Men, and pretty much every other hero that isn't bulletproof or doesn't have a healing factor. But Spider-Man's spider sense actually can sense a bullet in time for him to dodge, he does it all the time.
>>
>>151822940
that far away he can catch the bullet
>>
>>151823792
Can he catch buckshot?
>>
>>151822940
You are right. We should just replace all superheroes with snipers. I want to read 12 issues of a guy hanging out on a rooftop for hours while pissing and shitting themselves cause they can't leave their position.

A villain cloned Miles three times. One of them was a deformed, mass-shifting mute, though he's recently managed to get his powers under control so that he can talk (simply) and look less freakish.

Time to put this thread to rest.
>>
>>151823152
It's canon that Spidey was able to topple the Hulk, but he had a hard time doing it.
>>
>>151824118
Isn't that a symbiote though?
>>
>>151824205
No he's in his normal black suit. It's his the "shit just got real" costume. Also a callback to Kraven's Last Hunt.
>>
>>151823971
You don't see an obvious flaw in using this system to shoot Spidey?

Namely that the shooter has to continue shining the laser on a superhuman that moves lightning fast?
>>
>>151823422
Spider-Man got hit hard by the powercreep

>>151822993
It's precognition. Where's he going to go? WHERE YOUR BULLETS ARE NOT! You set up a fake building with walls composed entirely of guns and a thin paper facade to make it look like a building, his Spider-Sense is going to tell him DON'T FUCKING GO IN THERE!

You deserve a sarcastic reaction image, but unfortunately I proved a staff member wrong a couple of days ago and they range-banned me from posting images.
>>
>>151822957
It's a fucking danger sense anon, an amazonian tribesman isnt gonna give a shit if he hears deer fucking in the jungle but he knows when someone's watching him.
>>
>>151823912
The webbing's fireproof.
>>
>>151823371
It's never been based on spiders
You want the guns to be the best so you try to stack rules, but the sense has always been precognitive. It used to even protect his fucking secret identity way back in the early days. Do a lot of spiders have secret identities to fucking protect? No?
Shut the fuck up, casual.
>>
>>151825622
>It used to even protect his fucking secret identity way back in the early days.
back when he could use it to scan entire buildings and find hidden electronic devices
kinda funny how he's been nerfed somewhat over the years and now you have the other spider people showing up telling him he's bad at everything he does
