Like an AU where he's brought back in the year 3,000 or something and WW2 has this ancient significance to America the way Rome does to the West at large.It'd be pretty funny to see Steve treated the same way people see Thor, like there's a very significant chunk of the population who were genuinely convinced Captain America was just some PR stunt the US made up in response of all the wacky advanced(for the time) stuff Marvel's Nazis had at their disposal.
