why s1 was so popular yet so SO forgettable?
>>151826210Season 1 was fantastic.Season 2 was.... fine.
Season 1 became forgettable because season 2 got rid of almost all of the fallout of silco's death and the rapidly expanding divide between the two halves of the city in the first part so it could focus on the corrupting aspects of Arcane magic when that shit should've been saved for a Ixtal/Void show with the rise of hextech being a looming threat to the city in the far future rather than immediate.
>>151826210>Forgettable But I spend every hour thinking of jinxie
>>151826210Troon show
>>151826210It built up a lot of potential that was killed off by the second season.
>>151826210is this show worth a watch if you know fuck all about League? Same with that Ruined King game
>>151826210I blame Season 2. Season 1 was actively fantastic, season 2 basically went like "none of that matters, except when Cait's mom dies (until the end)"
>>151827331It's not about you.
>>151828380Yes and Yes. They're both good individual pieces, except for Season 2 of Arcane. Only watch Season 2 if you have a hard on for arcane or are a league faggot. The Ruined King game is actually a really solid turn based RPG.
>>151829451thanks anon, I'll probably go with the game first
>>151830148Sure thing, hope you enjoy. It's made better by knowing some of the background lore but it's not at all necessary. The tie-in event is... let's just say not the best
>>151826210Where are you getting "forgettable" from exactly?
>>151826210S2 undid S1 in the worst way possible. Feels like everything that happened in S1 from the political turmoil to the oppresion commentary to the psycho villain Jinx, to the war between two cities was thrown out of the building to focus on "LE SHIPS OMG WE HAVE TO SHIP ALL CHARS BEFORE WE END SO THE SHIPPERS GO HOME HAPPY"
>>151830649This, pretty much. Jinx went from crazy by nature, psycho by nurture into being just a crazy chick again who wasn't treated appropriately like an actual international criminal, considering she made both peoples' situations worse.
>>151826210Jinx was young
>>151831263she was 19
>>151826210I remember there was a bunch of crazy theories about the kid, and she turned out to be nothing more than a narrative device only good for /ll/ porn with Jinx
>>151830328it was forgettable, no one remembered a damn thing when s2 was about to air so everyone went for a re-watch
